Yeah, so I’ve been a bit M.I.A. Sorry about that. I started a new job lately. Actually, I was working both jobs, plus taking care of the house and family, PLUS leading my BB business. It was rough there for a bit.
Last month, I joined THOUSANDS of others in a new program, called Shift Shop. I describe it as football drills. That’s what it reminds me of the most. Some plyo, some strentgh training, LOTS of fun. 🙂
The food part is a little tricky. It utilizes the Portion Control system, which is the easiest eating plan that I’ve ever tried. There’s less carbs than in most plans, though. It’s not keto, but it’s sorta similar. I can’t do just protein + carb+ veggie = meal. That’s not me. I’ve been cooking a bit. I had Chicken Chickpea Curry, Turkey Brussel Sprout Frittata, and Slow Cooker Chili. The chili is the bomb!
This week had six 25-minute sessions, plus a couple of 12 minute ones thrown in there. Next week, the workouts will become 35 minutes long. A little bit more intense, apparently.
It’s a challenge. It’s a struggle. I really wanted to sleep in every day. But, I decided for myself and my family that I would not be a lardass for the rest of my life. To become a good example for others, you have to be a good example. Yeah, I never said that I was Confusius.
Four pounds down this week. I’m hoping for ten more. No. I’m going to lose ten more. See? I have to remind myself to be positive. It’s not just you. 😉
