So, here is how the keto process is going. I’m down 8 pounds in less than three weeks. And there was much rejoicing! (yay…)
What they say about keto is true. You don’t feel hunger. Sometimes, I have to remind myself to eat. I never thought that I would ever say that. Ever. How do you forget to eat? Well, I don’t forget exactly. I just don’t feel the trigger to go and eat.
If you want to try keto, I recommend doing LOTS of research, like I did. There’s more to it than you’d think. Also, it’s not for long-term eating. No, you shouldn’t go nuts and start eating ice cream and french toast when the diet is over. That’ll just make you sick. The old saying “everything in moderation” is true in this, too.
Track EVERYTHING. You’d be amazed at how the extra carbs can sneak in: lemon juice for your water, the extra teaspoon of mayo that you approximated….
I use cron-o-meter to track my foods. You can add recipes and change your macro targets to your liking. No, I don’t have an affiliation with them. I just like the app. 🙂
I’m aiming for 10 lbs. by the end of the month. I think that I’m going to make it!
